Jättis has been one of Finland’s most beloved ice creams since 1979. To celebrate the iconic treat’s 40th anniversary in 2019, the brand released a new seasonal flavor inspired by nothing less than magic.

As the brand wanted to avoid the magical cone being profiled as just meant for little girls, and instead be portrayed as something cool and interesting that appeals to a larger group of consumers, we approached the advertising brief with a tongue in cheek. The sparkling Jättis Unicorn galloped its way to Finnish people’s hearts with a campaign that truly stood out from the mass like a unicorn’s horn sticks out of its forehead.
