SOS Children’s Villages is an international NGO dedicated to safeguarding not only children’s rights, but also childish rights worldwide. The difference is that they believe that children should be allowed to remain children – they deserve the right to play, to be comforted, to have someone looking out for them – even in areas of war and conflict.
The goal of these films was to depict SOS Children’s Villages important work. We start off each film in a stereotypical manner, leading the viewers into thinking that they’re watching another typical NGO ad. But then the story shifts – and we are reminded of the fact that every child should have the right to remain childish. Even if only for a moment.
